Access Pronto Family Medicine Clinic provides comprehensive education and immunization services to enhance your travel experience while maintaining good health.  It is suggested that the appointment be made four to six weeks prior to travel, in order to complete all necessary immunizations. However, it is still worthwhile and recommended to visit the Travel Medicine Clinic even if you are traveling on short notice.
 
  • Health risks associated with your itinerary and types of activities
  • Review of your medical history, allergies, immunization status and current medications
  • Disease prevention and prescriptions as needed for treatment of traveler's diarrhea and prevention of malaria
  • Safe practices and precautions on the place(s) you plan to visit if you are pregnant, are nursing or have a chronic health condition
  • Vaccination requirements dictated by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO)
  • Proper food and water safety, environmental concerns and protection from insects
  • Consular information sheets with travel warnings and safety conditions from the U.S. Department of State
  • Take-home information on travel health topics.
